Writing For Better Understanding
I think better while I am writing this article. Yes, writing makes you think better. The process of putting words together allows clear thinking and stimulates creativity, no matter you are writing on a paper or typing into the computer.
Sometimes you may feel unclear about something, such as an idea, a topic or an experience, and you may want to figure it out. One way to do this is to transform your thinking into words. Everything becomes clear when you explain it.
When you are writing down the ideas, you will find easier to understand your own thoughts. Write what you think. It’s a process of transforming your ideas into words, with logical thinking. This is absolutely an advantage.
While you are transforming your ideas into words, you are also understanding the logic behind. That is to say, your explaining power stimulates your brainpower. You are understanding the idea as you explain it.
If you want to learn something better, you can write down all your ideas and notes in a journal. For instance, when you need to solve a problem, you can write down what you can do to tackle it. You don’t need to worry when you have no idea, you can just write down anything you think of, and make an explanation. Thinking on paper is really workable.
Writes usually does not write something they have already understood. They prefer to write something that they does not fully understand and they really want to learn it. So try to write a book about a topic that you want to learn better.
Before writing this article, I have already understood the idea of writing as a process of better understanding. However, I now become more familiar with the process.
You can always write. For example, you can write a letter to your friends about something you are learning. You can also write an explanation of the problem you need to tackle. Writing is such a useful tool for better learning. So start writing now!
