There are a total of 4 specialist training sectors in the A+ syllabus, but you’re just required to achieve pass marks in 2 to gain A+ competency. Be aware though that limiting yourself to 2 of the study sections could expose flaws in your knowledge when applying for a job. At least learn about all four – you’ll be glad you did when it comes to interview time.

If your dream is to become a great web designer with relevant qualifications for the job market today, your must-have certification is Adobe Dreamweaver. For applications in the commercial world it’s important to have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the whole Adobe Web Creative Suite. This is including (though it’s not limited to) Flash and Action Script. Should you desire to become an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) or Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) you’ll find these skills are vital.

Without a regular deluge of trained network and computer support workers, commercial enterprise in the UK (and indeed in most countries) would surely run into problems. Consequently, there’s an on-going requirement for technicians to support both users and the systems they work with. Industry’s need for larger numbers of skilled and qualified individuals multiplies, as we become vastly more reliant on PC’s in the twenty first century.
